SERVANTHOOD

"as each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." (1st Peter 4:10)

"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. (Galatians 5:13)

One wonders sometimes what is in the mind of a man who volunteers in church ministry & specific tasks in a ministry opportunity. Is this to just fill a position that no one else will fill, & the numbers of people available are small to draw from?  Do you feel compelled to fill in or are you honestly moved within your spirit, soul & body to fulfill the commandments of the Lord? Are you called to serve people, & your God, using His gift within you to help others on their life's journey? Your servanthood should promote growth in you as you press towards the high calling that is in Christ Jesus.

Servanthood, in its essence, is a mindset & a way of life focused on prioritizing the needs of others & contributing to their well-being. It's about leading through serving, putting the needs of the team, community, or individual above your own. This approach emphasizes humility, empathy, personal growth, & a genuine desire to empower & uplift those around you. What does servanthood mean to you?
